The Parenting and Youth Behavior Research (PYBR) Lab engages in research on behavioral interventions for externalizing problems such as aggression, oppositionality, and ADHD. In particular, our research emphasizes 1) parenting risk and resilience among families of children with externalizing concerns; and 2) enhancing traditional behavioral parent training approaches. We examine processes of change within parenting interventions, acceptability of parenting interventions, and technological enhancements to extend the reach of these interventions in underserved communities. PYBR is  directed by Dr. Sara Elkins at the University of Houston Clear Lake.
